Our Story

Veronica and Amrik met in 2018 at College Hospital Costa Mesa. Both working long hours in a small admitting office in a psychiatric hospital, chemistry (and cabin fever) between the two was inevitable. Their loving coworker Jamie and Veronica's mother, a fellow employee, Maribel carefully constructed a plot to set the two up. An immediate rejection was soon followed by a hesitant acceptance, and a first date was set for November 16th, 2018. Keen to make an everlasting impression, Amrik pulled out all the stops. He claimed to have an adventurous palate after trying a dish he knew he found repulsive. He proclaimed to be a calm and collected soul as he anxiously wiped his sweaty palms underneath the restaurant table. Lastly, he may or may not have lied about his flatulence habits (we all do, so stop judging). Nonetheless, a second date commenced. Then a third, then a fourth. Just a few Spongebob episodes later, the couple were engaged on the beaches of Acapulco, Mexico.
